The essentials
We apply a maximum Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 28%, in compliance with applicable Canadian lending laws. This rate includes all service fees associated with your loan. A one-time transaction fee of $0.95 also applies when your loan is issued.
We will determine your minimum payment together after verifying your repayment capacity and the duration over which you wish to make your payments.
Our payments are flexible and can be repaid over a minimum period of 61 days and a maximum of 120 days (16 weeks). Payment frequency can be bi-weekly or weekly.
You may also make an early repayment, in full or in part, at any time without penalty.
At Express Cash, we do not base our decision on your credit score. Instead, we evaluate your repayment capacity based on your income and banking history.
If a particular situation arises during your loan, we are here to help you with your payment issues. Contact us immediately if you are experiencing difficulty making your payments so we can explore available options together.
Applications are subject to our verification process to ensure the borrower has sufficient income to repay. You must:
- Be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Have a regular monthly income of at least $1,200, paid by direct deposit.
- Be a Canadian citizen and hold a Canadian bank account.
- Have worked for at least three months, with regular payments.
- Not be bankrupt or about to declare bankruptcy.
- Have a good banking history, without returned payments.
If you do not meet these criteria, your loan application may be declined.
The following applicants and income sources are not accepted:
- Self-employed workers.
- Retirement savings.
- Student loans.
- KOHO accounts.
- Child tax credit.
- The ODSP program.
- Any form of social assistance.
Failure to make payments on time can result in serious consequences:
- NSF Fee (Non-Sufficient Funds): $50.00 if a payment is returned due to insufficient funds in your account.
- Collection Actions: Your account may be sent to a collection agency.
- Negative Credit Reporting: Late or missed payments may be reported to credit bureaus, affecting your credit score.
- Legal Action: In severe cases, legal action may be taken to recover the debt.
- Additional Interest: Interest continues to accrue on unpaid balances.
We encourage you to borrow responsibly. While we offer an excellent way to help you in times of need, our loans are designed as short-term solutions and should not replace long-term financial planning. Use our services only when no other option is available. Taking out too many short-term loans simultaneously could lead to serious financial problems and excessive debt.

Fast Online Cash Loans in Canada
Read the full guideA cash loan you request and receive entirely online, without visiting a branch. At Express Cash, cash loans range from $300 to $1,500 and are repaid in instalments over 61 to 120 days. Eligibility is confirmed through a secure bank connection instead of documents or a credit check.
Yes. Express Cash uses Instant Bank Verification (IBV) instead of a credit check. IBV is a secure, read-only connection that confirms your income and banking activity directly from your bank account. Your credit file is never pulled, so applying leaves no trace on your credit score.
You can apply if you are 18 or older, a Canadian citizen with a Canadian bank account, employed for at least 3 months, and paid at least $1,200 per month by direct deposit. Applications cannot be approved when income comes only from self-employment, retirement savings, student loans, KOHO accounts, the child tax credit, ODSP or social assistance.
Approved funds are sent by Interac e-Transfer. If your bank account has Auto-Deposit enabled, the transfer is deposited automatically; otherwise, you accept it and answer a security question. When the transfer appears in your account depends on your bank's settings, not on Express Cash.
Repayment is spread over 61 to 120 days in weekly or bi-weekly instalments that follow your pay schedule. You can repay early, in full or in part, at any time without penalty. All costs are disclosed in your loan agreement before you sign.
A payday loan is normally repaid in a single payment on your next payday. An Express Cash cash loan is an instalment loan: repayment is spread over 61 to 120 days, so one emergency does not claim an entire paycheque. Our personal loan vs payday loan guide compares the two structures in detail.
Credit score: Winning strategies for 2026
Read the full guideThe most important factor for quickly improving a credit score is making on-time bill payments. On-time payments have the greatest impact on your score, followed by reducing your credit utilization rate. Even small adjustments, such as paying down part of your balance before the statement date, can have a positive effect within a few weeks.
Improving a credit score can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on your starting situation. Actions such as correcting errors on your credit report or lowering your balances can produce relatively fast results, while building a strong credit history requires more time and consistency.
Yes, it is possible to get a loan even with a low credit score. Some lenders, such as Express Cash, offer tailored solutions with a simplified approval process and no credit check, allowing you to access funds quickly while continuing to work on improving your credit score.
24/7 Loans in Canada: E-Transfer Funding Day and Night
Read the full guideYes. Our application, review and e-Transfer funding all run 24/7, including weekends and statutory holidays. The process is the same at midnight as it is at noon.
The e-Transfer is sent once your agreement is signed. Most banks make the funds available within minutes of the transfer being accepted, and autodeposit makes it even faster because there is nothing to accept manually.
We use instant bank verification (IBV) rather than a traditional credit check. IBV securely confirms your income and account activity, which means a low credit score does not automatically disqualify you.
A steady income, an active Canadian bank account with online banking, a valid email address and a phone number. The application itself takes about ten minutes.
Loans start at $300 and go up to $1,500. Dedicated options include the $500 loan, $1,000 loan and $1,500 loan.
Your loan agreement shows the APR that applies to your loan, every payment amount and date, and the total to repay, all before you sign. Our pricing complies with applicable Canadian lending laws.
No lender can honestly guarantee approval for everyone, and offers that promise it deserve suspicion. Every Express Cash application is genuinely reviewed. What "24/7" means with us is that the review happens at any hour, not that the answer is always yes.
Repayment is set up as fixed payments on a schedule aligned with your paydays, all laid out in your agreement before you sign. If you ever anticipate trouble making a payment, contact us early and we will work with you.
Yes. Once a loan is fully repaid, you can apply again whenever a new need comes up, and returning customers move through the process faster because your file is already established. Existing customers can also use the loan renewal option from their account.
Interac e-Transfer: What is it and what is it for?
Read the full guideNot literally. Every legitimate lender verifies income and banking activity before making a decision, and some applications are declined. What "instant approval" usually describes is a fast, streamlined review, not a skipped one. A lender promising approval for everyone is a warning sign, not a convenience.
Approval is the lender's decision to grant your loan. Receiving the money is a separate step: approved funds are sent by Interac e-Transfer, and when they appear in your account also depends on your own bank's settings, such as Auto-Deposit. The two moments are related, but they are never the same thing.
Because a responsible lender confirms that a loan fits your situation before sending money. At Express Cash, the review is based on your income and banking activity through Instant Bank Verification (IBV), a secure read-only bank connection, instead of a credit check. Applying leaves no trace on your credit file.
Yes. With Auto-Deposit enabled on your bank account, an approved loan sent by e-Transfer is deposited automatically, with no security question to answer. Without it, you accept the transfer manually. Either way, the setting belongs to your bank account, not to the lender.
Yes. The Express Cash application is open 24/7, every day of the year. Your application then follows the same stages as any other: eligibility review, approval decision, and funds sent by Interac e-Transfer once approved.
